Domain Name Terms and Conditions
- We allow domain names to be transferred away from us free of charge, but
there may be charges from the registrars over which we have no control or
juristiction. Normally names are paid for a 2 year period, but if there
is a prepaid period of more than 9 months remaining on the domain name registration
that has not been paid by the client, then this will be charged & paid
for before the name will be released.
- If a client moves in excess of 5 names in a one month period a charge
of £5 per domain name for will be charged as a contribution towards
administrating these transfers. The first 5 names will be free.
- In requesting a transfer of a domain, the correct procedures should be
followed by the new holding company. If domain names are within two months
of the renewal date then they cannot be transferred until we receive payment
for that renewal.
- PAYMENT POLICIES
All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although we reserve the right
to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed
for the period of prepayment. Payment is due prior to each anniversary year
or month following the date the account was established. Customers will
automatically be invoiced again at the end of their prepay period unless
closure notification has already been given.
- We reserve the right to suspend other services until the outstanding
debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account
from the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a written
cancellation request.
- CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Jack Computing Solutions reserves the right to cancel the service at any
time. If a customer contravenes our terms of service a refund will not be
issued in the event of a cancellation.
6.1 Customers may cancel their account at any time. Should you cancel the
domain name mid-term, refund are not possible as the national registrars
do not permit this. On notification of termination, we reserve the right
to use the domain name for Search Engine Optimisation purposes until it
expires.
6.2 Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable.
- INDEMNIFICATION
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Jack Computing
Solutions harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs
and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Jack Computing
Solutions, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise
or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed
or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer
agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jack Computing Solutions against
liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused
by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with our server;
(2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing
on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and
(4) any defective products sold to customer from our server.
- DISCLAIMER
Jack Computing Solutions will not be responsible for any damages your business
may suffer. Jack Computing Solutions makes no warranties of any kind, expressed
or implied for services we provide. Jack Computing Solutions disclaims any
warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The includes
loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any
and all service interruptions caused by Jack Computing Solutions and its
employees. Jack Computing Solutions reserves the right to revise its policies
at any time.
